The LuxPower solar inverter can be used without being connected to the electrical grid, with batteries, with a generator, or other sources of energy generation, and can also operate connected to the grid.

Operating Modes

• Semi-off-grid: Connection to the grid or generator, the inverter operates connected to the grid or generator. When the photovoltaic energy is not sufficient to power the system's loads, it will draw energy from the batteries. The LuxPower SNA 5000 WPV switches automatically between the grid or the generator when the batteries and solar energy do not provide enough power to complete the loads.

• With Batteries: The LuxPower can operate with batteries.

• Off-grid: This inverter operates in Off-grid mode. It can be installed without being connected to an external generator or the grid. Thanks to the inverter's charge controller, this process is simple and easy. In this installation model, it is essential to install compatible batteries in order to have power when there is no solar production or when the photovoltaic system falls short depending on the loads. We recommend conducting a study of the energy needs of the off-grid system to determine the number of batteries and the power of the photovoltaic system needed.
